Can you tell us about your background?

I am from Epe, Lagos State, and was born into an amazing family with three younger siblings. I have been interested in media and technology since I was 17 years old but did not have the tools at that age. Neither did I have money to fund any successful venture. It started from drawing comic books in primary school, then learning and thoroughly practising graphic design. I pursued a freelance design career, and took the proceeds to get started in video production for mobile technology reviews. Today, I have founded a media company and I’m grateful to have produced video contents which have been viewed 11.8 million times on YouTube in the past four years. I have also worked with over 70 technology, finance and related brands locally and internationally. The over 170,000 people subscribed to the channel currently would disagree. It was, of course, difficult, especially considering that I didn’t make money in the first year I started. I actually went into debt when I started and had to take a pay cut for three months. I am grateful to my employers at the time who helped me and I’m also grateful to those who watch the videos and subscribe to the channel. The first time a smartphone brand reached out to me was on Twitter. I met one …….
